TECH NOTES: The DX-1000 has an Automatic Thermal shutdown switch to protect the amplifier from overheating. With the Variable power control with the select watt switch you can run the amp at full power or set the watts where you get the cleanest audio with the max power and not distort your audio. The Fan on top of the unit pulls air in the top cover across the amplifier out through hole in the chassis bottom behind the meter in the front panel. Then the cool air moves across the heatsink on the bottom and out the back. This unit made to give you dependable service and maximum power for a long time. You can also use a remote control with this unit. The same remote that is used for the DX-1200 & DX-1600 will work with this unit.
